The only thing I noticed so far was the rooms being expanded, but there's many ways to do it. To list a few: going over the room limit, adding new plms or? enemies, overwriting the 'X' tiles, incorrectly changing pointers. That's just a couple, but those are the most common ways.

I hate to say it, but you may need to just start over... you overwrote alot of data. Once you overwrite stuff, it's virtually unfixable, so that's why you need to make constant back-ups. Google "Metriod Construction" and that site will have guides on issues like expanding rooms and such,? you need a hex editor for that.

Well, I fixed your doors. You needed to reconnect them. I also extended the red scrolls, but that may have not been needed. For the bubbles, it's as simple as copying and pasting, just get it from a untouched room, and facing the right direction. I'll take a look at your layer 2 issue now. How do you want to do this?? Me make a vid, or send the fixed file back to you? Ohh btw, you might've overwrote data by expanding the second room the way you did, you have to repoint that stuff.

If you are using Camtasia, on some recordings, it will automatically assign Zoom Keyframes in the video when you open it in the video studio. The zooms are the blue diamond looking things in the timeline and you just remove them from the video if you want it to show all of the screen through the whole video... :) I use Camtasia all the? time, it is my main recorder and I have my mouse set to record with it (mainly because the option to remove it doesn't appear in Camtasia 7)

Good tuts... what recording program do you use...? I would maybe remove or change the zoom keyframes a little that way it is more understandable... and maybe set the mouse cursor to show in recording... just think that might work a little better...
