i just saw this video for the first time the other day and today i just had the opportunity to go out into the woods and do some things? i have been learning and this was the first thing i did today (i only watched this video once maybe 3 or 4 days ago) and i successfully lashed 2 large tripods that i set up and mounted a long tree across and it completely held me and 5 other people.. using this for a large shelter. i just came back to make sure i did everything correctly which i did. thank you!!

I really like your videos. There's nothing I hate more than a guy who's fumbling around with a camera while trying to give a demonstration on something I'm actually interested in. Your making an educational video. So it's not done? spur of the moment. It's planed, I'm sure to an extent scripted, and it's done right.

I found it easier to use your rock blade video ( awesome btw) to carve stakes and jam them into the ground? around a tree then tie the tops to the trunk, worked well other than the time I broke the stake

MAKE? MORE VIDS
By: enri4134. on 12 Jan 12, 05:35:43
Excellent video -- clearly and precisely demonstrated. When setting up the tripod, I would suggest crossing? the outer poles underneath the center pole; this method causes a portion of the load to be supported from the wood-to-wood contact of the outer poles. Setting up the center pole underneath the outer poles places nearly all of the load on the lashing instead of the poles. Great work!
