Too often, when opening coconuts, people? get excited resulting in deminished focus; this is when unfortunate accidents happen. Placing the coconut on the kitchen counter or solid surface will provide for added safety,? just keep your other fingers away from the blade. If you watch the caution I place at the beginning of this video, you will notice I intentionally provide a "Child Warning". No other coconut opening videos I've watched do this.

I'll be honest, this is a dangerous method for opening a coconut, yet people have been doing it for centuries. Opening a coconut? with a "coconut clever" takes practice and patience, yet you must use caution; and keep your other hand and fingers away from the blade.

Dremel tool. Delicate, faster, safer, more efficient AND more expensive, however, a cordless reciprocating saw would work wonders and could almost (not!) match the price of a K-Mart clever. Kids and Adults! never pick up a clever and do this. Buy coconut milk in? a carton. You cannot buy a new finger in the refrigerated department. If you do cut off your finger with a clever opening a coconut DO refrigerate your finger. You can have it reattached at a local emergency room for under $18,000.00.

My advice is to simply step outside your comfort zone. Experience the benefits of a clean, detoxifying RAW Vegan diet for at least 30 days. I've reached a level of pure enlightenment at Day 41.? Just try it & then you will understand. If you need help, there are plenty of avenues in which to seek informed, educated advise. I guarantee you that once you experience the benefits of going 100% RAW, you will be very hesitant in ever switching back to consuming cooked or processed foods.

Hmm...you deleted my comments and basically insulted me because I said your diet? isn't perfect. BTW, you used your when it should be you're. Based on that comment, it seems that depression, alcohol, and too high of standards was your problem. You blame meat which seems more of a scapegoat so you won't have to take credit for problems you have had. Meat, starch, and gluten isn't bad for you. Perhaps you have a more positive outlook now, but that is a mental change, not because you eat plants.

I know. When Im eating 100% raw, I am also hardly ever hungry at all......stable blood sugar all day....IF I eat lots of greens. That seems to be all I crave ....minerals, and some healthy fats like avocados. I believe in body type differences, as in ayurveda and TCM. I don't subscribe to the 80-10-10 approach? to a one size fits all raw diet. For me its all about the greens and I do eat chia, hemp, coconut and avocado and some olive oil and olives. I also use sea salt and any herbs.

Yes, my brain was so shocked by the accident that I found myself eating potato chips, like 2 bags, in a complete stupor, without even tasting them! It was weird that I did that? since I was sooo happy with my raw diet. i guess I switched over to a different part of my brain at that moment of the crash.

I went raw on 9-11-2009. Everything was going great, and I was feeling amazing....then I got rear ended in a hit and run car accident,on June 6, 2010 and was severely in shock from the accident. Without thinking, i drove straight to a store and bought potatos chips to console myself!! I had major whiplash. So from there I started eating? cooked sweet potatoes and pototoes along with my raw foods. After 2 years of eating cooked potatoes, I am tired of them.. Now I crave only raw foods.

Transitioning from an unhealthy diet consisting of fast food & emotional eating will lead to eliminating those harmful age-inducing toxins that weigh down the vast majority? of society today.
