I would google to see which essential oils will work for this. Fragrance oils formulated for candle-making are the best choice. Check out Brambleberry (the Youtube channel? and the website) for lots of bath & body making tutorials. Also, they sell great supplies on their site, including tons of amazing fragrance oils.

You can melt glycerine soap, and you can grate? other soaps & combine them with water to "rebatch" them - but it's a totally different process. Also, don't use dollar store fragrance oils in soap-making projects.

can I try? this method with soaps?

By: dollarcraft. on 09 May 12, 01:32:15

But I just watched it? again & it does sound like I have a script. I guess I kind of had a script in my head...

Great vid...subbed...we call it a 'bain-marie' (pron. 'bang-marie') in europe....sounds more exotic than 'double boiler'!!!?
By: MissFredFlinstone. on 08 May 12, 23:12:42
@roorooroo368 actually no. Basically everyone here just talks infront of a camera without scrips or anything. You pretty? much look bad when you forget your "lines" or lose you spot on a sheet of paper and this video is long and scripted so your point is irrelevant.
By: KristyMoy. on 08 May 12, 19:30:14
why does it matter if she has a script? lol. but nice video! i'm going to look at your other ones =D?

By: charlottecashmore84. on 08 May 12, 14:26:55
I can't? believe I've never thought of using a can for a double boiler, what a good idea!
By: cookiemix67. on 08 May 12, 06:36:42
Love the idea and thriftiness however please clean your stove that just looks unplesant and most important unsanitary, suggestions if you want to maintain your burners from getting charred stuff on them, once you give a good cleaning, rim the whole liner in aluminum? foil then change out when needed and wala you have clean cook top!

By: dollarcraft. on 08 May 12, 05:19:39
Use a battery-operated or? plug-in wax melter for flameless melting.
By: dollarcraft. on 08 May 12, 05:19:12
I didn't have a script - I'm just extremely? robotic on camera. Ha ha! :)
By: dollarcraft. on 08 May 12, 05:18:34
