The point is that a lemon provides the circuit even with a huge internal ohmic resistance, thus the reported voltage value is correct only because the measrumement device doesn't need a sensible current to measure it and it does not allow the current to flow? along the series. You're right. Edison did not "invent" the light bulb. He did however, did do a great amount of work in improving the light bulb and testing the various filaments. The issue of who cheated who is always going to be controversial. I'm sure you would agree though, that both individuals made serious contributions to science. Before this becomes another YouTube flame war, perhaps it would be more fruitful to discuss the future of energy.?

Both individuals made significant contributions in modern society that we still use (Edison invented the incandescent light? bulb and pioneered AC power sources while Tesla contributed work that was crucial in radio technology and advocated DC power). I could be mistaken, but i think Tesla's ideas are wonderful just in TRANSMITTING energy? (electrical in the case) but note in GENERATING it. The energy we receive in our homes has still to be created somehow (coal for example) and it would be necessary to increase that capacity (by other means), otherwise the price would rise immensely.

You run a pre-built HP and I`m supposed? to trust you? Note to recent laptop owners, lithium-ion technology has come a long way & more or less requires little to no conditioning. Newer batteries fail to recognize the calibration methods designed for older models (although older ones will). However, I would follow his suggestion & remove the battery when running your laptop off of the charger & only using the battery when no plug is available as this alone will x2 the average users battery life.
